New ESPEC EHS-221MD HAST system

MASER Engineering B.V. is very pleased to annouce that a new ESPEC HAST system has been purchased due to increased HAST test service requests from our customers. The EHS-221MD system has two chambers, bringing the total number of available HAST test chambers at 6 (4 systems in total with 2x 1 chamber and 2x 2 chamber).

With the purchase of this ESPEC system MASER Engineering has now 22 ESPEC systems in operation since the start of MASER Engineering BV, 22 years ago,  in 1993.

These tests are executed in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. MASER Engineering has an ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accreditation which is valid until 1 October 2017  by the Dutch Accreditation Council RvA for the majority of the offered activities with accreditation L 388. The scope is also accessible on www.rva.nl (lab code L 388).

The  ESPEC EHS-221MD has been purchased from Hielkema Test equipment located in Uden, the Netherlands.

About the EHS-221MD:

  • Unsaturated or saturated humidity control
  • Multi-mode M System (wet bulb/dry bulb) controls humidity, even during heat-up and cool-down.
  • Fully conforms to EIA/JEDEC Test Method A110 & 102C.
  • Programmable controller with temperature, humidity, and count-down display. Stores up to 10 test profiles, with 30 steps per profile.
  • Automatic fill of the humidity water at the start of a test (except TPC)
  • Overheat & over-pressure protectors
  • Door lock safety mechanism to prevent opening of the door while the chamber is pressurized
  • Specimen power control terminal: shuts down the product power in the event of an alarm
