At the European CEEES seminar 2012 “European Reliability and Environmental Testing Connected”, which was organized by the Dutch CEEES member PLOT and held on October 18th, 2012, in Rotterdam, Mr. Kees Revenberg (Managing Director) of MASER Engineering presented a talk entitled:

MEMS device application based testing

The growth in applications of MEMS devices has impact on the test and screening procedures for these devices. Since these devices transfer physical parameters into an electronic system vice versa, these physical parameters have to be part of the testing procedure. Many MEMS devices use packaging techniques of the electronic industry. MASER Engineering is involved in application specific test procedures for MEMS. This presentation will give an overview of MEMS related tests and some examples of the MASER Engineering experience with the adaption of test procedures for this class of devices.

The Confederation of European Environmental Engineering Societies (CEEES) is an independent organization, promoting the advancement of science and technology in the field of environmental engineering and related branches of science. In The Netherlands, the Environmental Technology platform PLOT is a member of the CEEES Confederation.

About PLOT
To promote the development of testing products to get to field conditions as functioning as expected by the customer, the Environmental Technology platform (PLOT) is established in 1995. PLOT is an association that is connected to FHI, federation of technology branches and it currently has about forty members. MASER Engineering B.V. is a member of PLOT.
